I woke up and there it was the truth:December is over and the fake Christmas tree has been neatly packed into the box. The Christmas lights never got put up on the house but we had every intention to do that each time we turned the corner of our neighborhood and notice the flashing lights along the street.
What happened this year? It really isn't that I got too busy to try or that other more important things headed up the priority list... It is just that time went into high gear. The ride was fast and before I could think about one more gift idea... Christmas was over!
I have pictures to prove it happened and empty boxes that show the reality of gifts given. But to my joy - I have the truth that Jesus came as a child, gave His life for mine and ever lives to intercede on my behalf.
